The aroma is clean, typical of the variety, with remarkable herbal scents. The flavour is soft, with lovely balance of long, firm tannins. Consequently, this wine is highly recommended with grilled or stewed meat and game.

The Merlot variety has found an ideal habitat in the Euganean area, consequently expressing features which are quite interesting from an enological point of view. This wine shows a ruby red colour and an agreeable aroma, typical of the variety, with herbal hints. The flavour is soft, well-balanced and of good length. It can be served throughout the meal, although it is the ideal accompaniment to roasted or grilled meat.

Made from a blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Barbera (10%), this wine shows a deep ruby red colour with slight violet reflections and on the nose it suggests a fine freshness of soft fruit, like raspberries and wild blackberries. The flavour is soft and fascinating, with a clean aftertaste of mid length. It is excellent with autumnal dishes, like pasta, pumpkin or mushrooms risottos. But it is also a good accompaniment to stewed and boiled meat, soft or mid-aged cheeses.
